DetailsForward, nicely intense, earthy black fruit nose followed by delicious, ripe, moderately structured, relatively dense, nicely elegant flavors and a long, beautifully delineated finish. This has already begun to lose a bit of the incredibly seductive baby fat that made this so alluring young but that said, it is still altogether lovely and an exceptionally fine effort for the vintage. - Allen Meadows Burghound.com, July 2004.
