Details1982 Gruaud Larose - Robert Parker's Hedonist's Gazette, October 2012: We followed that with what, along with the 1961, may be the greatest Gruaud Larose ever made, the 1982. It is a massive, masculine, dense, concentrated wine that tastes like blood from the vineyard. It remains a dense ruby/black/garnet color with lots of roasted meat, bouquet garni, licorice and crme de cassis characteristics.
